Cross Cultural Art Exchange: Hollywood, California, USA
CCAE is a venture that gives Angeleno artists and students the opportunity to learn from foreign artists, share their art, as well as give them a chance to work together on various sculpting projects.
The first stage of the project saw Dr. Robby Gordon of The Hollywood Sculpture Garden, alongside members of The Hollywood Arts Council, team up with the State of Baja cultural managers Leobardo Sarabi and Ricardo Orozco of CEART-Playas de Rosarito and Architect and Sculptor Armando Munoz Garcia of The Mona and the Mermaid Houses and Art Teacher Manuel Ramirez of UABC to develop a cross cultural artist exchange between Baja California Mexico and Hollywood California, USA for both professional artists and students.
The Cross Cultural Arts Exchange (CCAE) is designed to give artists and students worldwide the opportunity to share their work through a partnership with the Hollywood Gallery (HG) and Hollywood Sculpture Garden (HSG). The non-profit partner in the United States is the Hollywood Arts Council.
As well as regular art receptions, talks, and other events, some of the artists will also participate in the creation of collaborative sculptures.

CCAE is still in its early stages, and has just seen its second Art Reception take place in January 2017, welcoming Said Abu Shakra and Ruth Oppenheim from the Umm El-Fahem Gallery (Israel) to share about their art projects, as well as their plans to build a brand museum -- the first of its kind in all of Israel, showing Arab, Palestinian, and Israeli art in unity.
